Are You a Self-Discovery Practitioner?

September 15, 2021

Are You a Self-Discovery Practitioner?

You might be saying, “What on earth is that?” Or maybe you think it is obvious because you use personality assessments to help people understand themselves. Or maybe just thinking about this question makes you realize that is really what you do when you work with typology models. Or maybe you are thinking it would be great to be a Self-Discovery Practitioner.

A Self-Discovery Practitioner facilitates real change and deep understanding in individuals and groups by presenting information and experiences that help them discover more about themselves (and others) using a variety of models and practices. The reason so many people are in love with personality frameworks and ‘tests’ is that they want to discover more about themselves. What they don’t often realize is that self-discovery is a process, not an answer from an expert or a personality instrument. It is a journey that goes beyond the theory and team building sessions and one-on-one ‘typing’ sessions. No expert or individual can tell you what your type is! It is up to the individual to discover who they are and then to apply that knowledge to self-leadership and self-management.

The information learned about themselves and others in this way is so profound that it can be life changing by realigning themselves with who they really are, at their CORE. It is the starting point for all kinds of life decisions as well as improving our relationships and dealing with conflict.

Some of the many results our certified Self-Discovery Practitioners have reported . . .
