New Low-Cost, On-Demand Course!Dynamics of Personality Type
Understanding Yourself and Others™
Ready to dig in and start Understanding Yourself and Others™ right away?

Free Foundations Course
What makes the InterStrength™ Approach so powerful? How is it different from other approaches to personality differences?
This on demand course on InterStrength™ Foundations provides an overview of The InterStrength™ Approach to self-awareness and self-management using three interrelated lenses that describe us at our core.
- The Interaction Style lens
- The Essential Motivators lens
- The Cognitive Dynamics lens
Some videos in this course are from the Certification courses, so they do include a few 'instructions' and how-to's. Even if you are not intending to facilitate self-discovery, you will get the basics in these videos.
In this course you will
- Gain an understanding of the basic principles we follow in the InterStrength™ Approach
- Gain an overview of the Interaction Styles, Essential Motivators, and Cognitive Dynamics lenses so you can better understand the kinds of information each lens provides.
- Begin to identify where you fit within these lenses.
Each lens brings different information to understanding ways we are like others and ways we are different. While they operate separately from one another, they are interrelated and have some 'look-alikes.'
This is a free course, no credit card information or payment of any kind required.
Exploring Intentional Styles - The 4th Lens
Did you know you have an Intentional Style? When you are doing just about anything, you have some unconscious intentions. We have a new lens (aka model) that can help you identify your Intentional Style.
So what are Intentional Styles?
Dictionary.com defines…
…an intention as, an act or instance of determining mentally upon some action or result.
…a style as, a particular, distinctive, or characteristic mode of action or manner of acting. So our Intentional Style is a pattern of activities that we do as we attempt to get our intentions satisfied.
Over the course of the last ten years, we have been identifying four patterns, refining the definitions and using this lens in the background as we help people understand themselves and others, improve their communication and relationships, and find their best fit among the 16 personality types. When we share this lens with other type practitioners, they are surprised at the relationships to the type code, but it makes sense to them. For some, this lens has made the difference between being confused about their best-fit and being clear.
Our online sessions will give you an opportunity to learn directly with Linda Berens, share in small groups to deepen your learning, ask questions, and observe the Styles in action.
